LASS is very excited about its participation in an amazing rescue flight which took 10 animals from the Lancaster Animal Shelter to a new home on Long Island, New York on November 9th.  The project was a coordinated effort by LASS and the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) and was made possible with the help of the shelter, two Lancaster Country council members,Terry Graham and Larry Honeycutt,  and a charitable volunteer pilot, Bob Gordon.

Please  read the fabulous article about the rescue flight that appeared in the Lancaster News on November 18th.
