Thanks to Diane Rashall for sharing this update. It's great to see these LASS success stories!
Dory was found half-submerged in a pond by Animal Control. She was very
weak when brought to Shelter; could barely stand. Dochas n Gra, a
sanctuary rescue in Chesterfield County, took Dory. LASS paid $150
toward her vetting. She was diagnosed with severe arthritis of the hips
and knees and is in Rimadyl.. She is now able to walk and is safe and
Jasmine was found with her six puppies by Animal Control in the deep
woods. She was very thin and her tail was cut so badly that the broken
bone was visible.
LASS sponsored $200 towards her surgery. She and her pups have rescue.
Addy and her pup were strays. Addy had two strikes against her, even
though she is the sweetest gal ever. She is a heart worm-positive pit
bull. LASS sponsored $150 toward her treatment and both Addy and her pup
Ashley were adopted.
